A new method of assessing work-related upper limb disorders has been
developed by a team at the University of Aberdeen. The team, led by Professor
Rod Graves, has published two reports: Feasibility of Developing a Simple
Prototype Decision aid for Initial Medical Assessment of Upper Limb Disorders
and Development and Evaluation of Diagnostic Support aids for Upper Limb
Disorders. The second of these reports describes the aid which have been
developed.

It comes in two versions, one for GPs and another, with more detail, for
occupational health physicians. It gives alternative diagnoses and examines
possible causal factors.
