The group for OH nurse educators has a new chairwoman who aims to raise the
profile of learning and teaching in the profession.
Middlesex University lecturer in OH and safety Lily Lim said one way of
doing this would be communication through their web site discussion group.
"My vision as chair of the Association of Occupational Health Nurse
Educators is that there will be an increasing demand for good OH advice and
support in the workplace," she said. "We should be working
proactively with all the stakeholders to ensure that OH nurses’ education is
progressive, effective and efficient."

She said the AOHNE members’ network will also share and support good
practice through a general OH site: www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/occ-health/
The AOHNE (UK) also has a new vice-chairman, Harry Horsley from Robert
Gordon’s University in Aberdeen.
