UK
workers are forfeiting almost 2.8 million days leave by failing to take their
full holiday allowance.
The
Teletext Holiday survey found that four in 10 employees give up one day a year
– with a quarter giving up a week.
A
third of the 1,000 people questioned said they would rather lose a day’s
holiday than let their employers down, although 7 per cent simply forgot to
book days off in time.
