A round-up of the latest HR appointments.

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group has appointed Arvinder Dhesi to the newly created role of group talent director. Dhesi will be responsible for driving forward the talent agenda and will lead RBS’s Talent Centre of Expertise, which looks after areas such as talent management, executive development, employer brand marketing and supporting organisational culture change. Dhesi joins the company from Aviva, where he worked as group talent director for five years.

Della Garmory has become the associate director for HR at contact-centre-services company Fusion. She will lead the HR and development teams across the company’s UK sites and will develop the HR and training strategy. Prior to joining Fusion, Garmory was head of HR at Tour Operations, an independent division at travel company Thomas Cook. She also spent 18 years with the Nationwide Building Society in a variety of senior HR and development roles.

Specialist equipment rental company Hewden has hired Lyndsay Glover as head of HR. Glover will be responsible for the company’s HR team and will help to train and develop the skills of more than 1400 Hewden employees located nationwide. Previously, she worked at HP Information Security, where she was HR director and had a responsibility for training and development in the UK and overseas.
