by Personnel Today 29 Jul 2010
by Personnel Today 29 Jul 2010

A round-up of the latest people moves in the HR sector.

Catherine Cashin has taken up the permanent role of head of HR and organisational development at Stevenage Borough Council. She initially joined the authority on a two-year secondment from Hertfordshire County Council. Catherine worked in banking for six years before local government and, prior to that, spent nine years with DuPont.

Elsewhere, Katie Ivie has been appointed HR director at workforce management company Kelly Services. She joins the company with more than 10 years’ HR experience and her chief responsibilities will be to ensure the company retains its talent and recruits the best people in the industry.

Mark Gilbertson has joined Lloyds Banking Group as head of resourcing, covering both retail banking and group operations. Mark has 15 years of resourcing experience and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. He said: “This is an opportunity to join the UK’s largest retail bank and directly impact the bottom line by improving the quality and speed at which we find our talent, and by reducing recruitment costs.”
