HR people moves: Lloyds Banking Group, University of the Arts London, Richmond Council

A round-up of the latest HR appointments.

Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Sandra Quinn as people risk director. Quinn joined the group in July from the Financial Services Authority, where she recently completed a review of its financial crime activities. In this newly created role, Quinn will report to Angie Risley, group HR director, and will assume responsibility for risk management of the HR function and of people risk within the group.

In higher education, Nick Rogers – currently HR director at Kingston University – has been appointed the next HR director at University of the Arts London following the retirement of current director Clive Bane. Rogers previously worked as HR director at Napier University before moving to Kingston in 2006. He will take up his new role in September 2010.

David Marsh has become head of adults’ workforce development at the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Marsh has held HR roles at children’s charity Barnardo’s and two local authorities. He was previously director of workforce and programme development at membership organisation Children England.
