Human resources performance indicators can better predict company
profitability than some financial indicators, according to the Institute of
Employment Studies.
The IES argues in a new guide that as HR strives to prove its business case,
the use of indicators can raise the profile of departments within firms.
"Some HR indicators, such as employee commitment, can be predictive of
profitability and help you look ahead."
