The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) has hired two senior HR professionals from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

The ICE has appointed Sandra Parsons as HR director and Ethan Kelly-Wilson as group HR manager.

Parsons worked for five years as head of HR at the CIMA, after stints at Channel Four, Coca-Cola and British American Tobacco. Ethan Kelly-Wilson was HR business partner, operations at the CIMA, following roles at EasyJet and the NHS.

The ICE has also appointed Colin Boyes-Hill as group learning and development manager. He joins from charity Cancer Research UK.

An ICE spokesman said: “The ICE Group is delighted to announce that it has appointed a new HR senior management team, with the aim of turning group divisions, the Institution of Civil Engineers, Thomas Telford Limited, One Great George Street and associated charity the Benevolent Fund of the Institution of Civil Engineers into great places to work.”

The ICE has more than 80,000 members worldwide.
