Three in four IT workers would recommend the career to their children, according to a poll.
A survey of 956 technology workers by online recruitment specialist The IT Job Board and recruitment marketing agency Barkers found that the majority felt positive about their industry.

Seven in 10 workers polled expected a salary increase in the next year, and 75% would recommend a career in IT to their offspring. Almost nine in 10 expect to be able to voluntarily change jobs within the next three years.
Alex Farrell, managing director of The IT Job Board, said: “The over-riding conclusion of the research is that the IT sector is perceived to be a rewarding industry in which to work.”
