The
judges who will be choosing this year’s most pioneering and innovative employer
at the Personnel Today Awards on 31 October have been announced.
They
are: Wendy Hirsh, associate at the Institute for Employment Studies; Linda
Holbeche, director of research at Roffey Park; Martin Tiplady, HR director for
the Metropolitan Police Service; Bert Massie, chairman of the Disability Rights
Commission; and Clara Freeman OBE, chair of Opportunity Now.

The
panel will choose the overall winner of the 33 employers shortlisted during the
HR profession’s key event at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The
awards highlight the work of teams which have been able to demonstrate
innovation and achievement, teamwork, leadership, effective use of resources
and evaluate HR’s contribution to their organisation as a whole.
