Leading mediation company extends Core Mediation Skills™ training for HR and managers

The TCM Group – a leading provider of workplace and employment mediation services is proud to announce the extension of its innovative, one day Core Mediation Skills™ training programme for HR professionals and business leaders.

The course is run through the UK Mediation Academy in central London or is available to be delivered in house. For in-house delivery, the course can be tailored to meet your specific needs and requirements.

Core Mediation Skills™ for HR professional,  line managers and business leaders
Core Mediation Skills™ is specifically designed for HR practitioners and managers and line managers. In a tough economic climate, dispute resolution is one of the cornerstones of effective leadership, employee relations, and human resources management.

Core mediation skills™ have never been more important
The course presents participants with the skills that are needed to understand how and why disputes occur and how to respond when they do. The trainer, David Liddle (Founder and Director of TCM) guides participants to become Early Dispute Resolvers – nipping issues in the bud before they escalate out of control.

Course content and structure
The course uses the highly acclaimed FAIR mediation model™ to help delegates get the best result from difficult conversations.

David takes delegates through each of the key stages of setting up, running and closing a mediation session. This course also provides a framework for delegates when:

• Working with irate customers
• Dealing with strong emotions
• Managing performance and absence
• Managing change
