Line delivers family-friendly learning

E-learning has been endorsed for use by consumers with the commissioning from Line Communications of 15 hours of e-learning for the National Learning Network for the government-led Family Learning initiative.

Research presented to the Department for Education and Skills identified that a child’s attainment could be increased by up to 20 per cent through learning in the family. Line’s commission is one of many initiatives being put in place to encourage parents and children to learn together.

The material, which must be appealing, attention-grabbing and accessible, will be designed with the widest range of family relationships in mind. It is intended that it will reflect the diverse society in which children are raised.
