Lorica expands its employee benefits package with roadside assistance from Mondial Assistance UK

by Personnel Today 19 Nov 2010
by Personnel Today 19 Nov 2010

Lorica, a leading employee benefits consultancy is expanding its benefits package to include Mondial Motor Select, a roadside assistance and recovery service.  The agreement builds on the existing partnership between the two companies and helps demonstrate the strength of Mondial Assistance’s EB offering, including its Travel Select product, offered to Lorica clients’ employees earlier this year.

Mondial Motor Select has been developed to allow companies to provide their staff with a flexible roadside assistance and recovery service, an offering which is rare in the EB market. The new product includes national recovery, temporary vehicle replacement, overnight accommodation, European breakdown cover, plus onward travel costs.   In addition, staff can select cover levels up or down to reflect lifestyle changes, making the offering a truly flexible and tailored motoring solution for employees.

John Russell Smith, Lorica Client Director, says, “Lorica has a unique channel partner programme which finds the best of breed products, services and price.  In our processes, we ensure due diligence and create bespoke products to satisfy client and employee needs. The product we’ve created with Mondial Assistance sums this up perfectly; it offers a roadside assistance service in an employee benefits package, making it more accessible to thousands – at a much reduced price.

“Our partnership with Mondial Assistance means we can now provide both travel cover and roadside assistance on a truly global scale. Both Mondial Motor Select and Mondial Travel Select deliver comprehensive levels of cover, benefitting from Mondial Assistance’s focus on a premium service that delivers significant savings.”

Ben Smart, Sales Director Corporate, Travel & Health of Mondial Assistance in the UK adds, “Using our experience within the motor breakdown and travel insurance and assistance market, Mondial Assistance has created tailor made, flexible services specifically with the employee benefit market in mind. We are delighted to be supporting Lorica with our Motor Select, as well as our Travel Select product, providing its staff with the ultimate benefits the package offers. This is also a major boost to our entry into a growing market, as more high profile businesses recognise the benefits we can offer.”
