Lotus to axe 300 jobs

Lotus
cars have announced it is to axe up to 300 jobs at its production factory near
Norwich and its engineering site in Coventry.

The
sports car manufacturer blamed the job cuts on a shortfall in revenue and a
downturn in the world car industry in recent months.
