are risking further damage to the UK’s already disappointing productivity
levels by ignoring the motivation and happiness levels of employers.
experts are urging employers to introduce more coaching and training to help
improve staff well-being and to enable them to fulfil future business goals.
roundtable event, organised by consultants DBM and NETg, brought together
figures from the HR, corporate and training sectors who all agreed that modern

survey presented at the event also showed that just 18 per cent of employees
were sufficiently trained to carry out their job, while 60 per cent did not
understand how current training programmes related to their day-to-day role.
