roundtable event, organised by consultants DBM and NETg, brought together
figures from the HR, corporate and training sectors who all agreed that modern
day pressures of the workplace were harming productivity.

survey presented at the event also showed that just 18 per cent of employees
were sufficiently trained to carry out their job, while 60 per cent did not
understand how current training programmes related to their day-to-day role.
