The UK@Work 2000 survey found that only 12.2 per cent disagreed with the statement.
The survey also found that 38.8 per cent of UK staff would stay in their jobs if offered a similar job elsewhere with slightly higher pay.
Just over 30 per cent of staff said they would leave their current organisation for a pay rise of 10 per cent or less. Almost 70 per cent would leave for a 20 per cent pay rise.

Asked if they would recommend their organisation’s products or services, 60 per cent said they would, while 37 per cent would recommend their organisation as one of the best places to work.
