How long?
The MA is available on a full and part-time basis. The full-time masters is achievable in one year, while the part-time option will take around four years.
Entry qualifications
To be admitted, entrants need a postgraduate diploma in personnel management, or an equivalent qualification.
Modules
The course focuses on the role of the personnel practitioner as a strategist. It comprises a taught programme in the strategic integration of HRM and research methods. Areas covered include the relationship between strategic HRM and corporate objectives, the internal consultancy function, and advising senior management on strategic HRM issues. The course culminates in a 15-18,000 word dissertation.
