Many
employers are still flouting minimum wage legislation, a Government report has
found.
The
DTI said its enforcement officers have discovered more than £10m of wages
unpaid by employers since 1999 – the year the national minimum wage was
introduced.

The
report said 36 per cent of employers investigated were found not to be paying
the minimum wage.
