A team of councillors from across the UK will visit Glastonbury Festival later this month to see how the local council deals with the famous event.
Mendip District Council, the licensing authority for the festival, has invited councillors to the famous three-day music and arts extravaganza to discover how it affects the local economy, with firms being asked about job creation and local trading opportunities.
Mendip council leader Ken Maddock said all of those attending wished to learn from the tourism and culture experiences of other local authorities around the UK.
