Office design and refurbishment company Morgan Lovell is hosting a seminar to give people tasked with workplace relocation the inside knowledge to get their projects on track.
Office Relocation, A Step-By-Step Guide takes place on Thursday, 27 January, 2011, between 8:15am and 10:30am, at Morgan Lovell’s headquarters in Noel Street, Soho.
Designed to give attendees expert advice on how best to approach relocation in light of market changes, the seminar begins with an insight into mastering contracts, including a look at their principles and pitfalls, from Simon Tolson, a partner at Fenwick Elliot.
Simon will provide practical advice on contractual matters relating to office relocation, including negotiating a new lease, how to get the best deal in the current economic climate and how to speed up the completion process.
Ian Dickinson, head of pre contracts at Morgan Lovell, will then talk delegates through planning a relocation project from start to finish, including the design, fit out, logistics and move-in day, with an emphasis on achieving completion on time, to budget and with no interruption to the business.
Finally, Jill Tucker, regional facilities manager at TalkTalk, will share her experience of office relocation, referring to her company’s own experience of relocating 750 staff from various locations across London to their new site in Hammersmith.
