Michael Jenkins has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Roffey Park to succeed John Gilkes, who is stepping down after six years with the Institute.
Michael Jenkins will take up his role in March 2009.
He is currently Vice President Asia-Pacific for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) where he has built a significant business, offering leadership development across China, India, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore.
His career includes roles with INSEAD in France and Singapore, Bath University and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan.
Michael brings with him a wealth of experience both in terms of his business orientation and in working with a not-for-profit organisation.
This together with Michael’s global perspective and understanding of senior level personal development, particularly leadership and coaching, means he understands the challenges and opportunities facing businesses today.
