secretary, David Blunkett, has announced two new appointments to the Commission
for Racial Equality (CRE) and three extensions to current appointments.
Charles
Smith and Dexter Hutt have been appointed as part-time commissioners, while
Sarah Spencer and Kay Hampton have had their appointments as deputy chairs to
the CRE extended for a further 12 months to 31 March 2005, having been
initially appointed in April 2003.
Kamaljeet
Jandu has had his appointment as commissioner extended until 31 May 2005.
