Skin care booklets

The Health & Safety Executive has published three guidance booklets on
assessing and managing risks from exposure of skin to chemical agents. They are

Safety roadshows

A series of roadshows to raise awareness about the need for correct personal
protective equipment are being run by the Health & Safety Executive and the
British Occupational Hygiene Society from April. They will tour the country
calling at London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Preston and Sheffield.  www.hse.gov.uk

Exposure limits

The Health & Safety Executive has approved an updated list of
occupational exposure limits which will be published in early May. The new
limits will take effect from December. A consultation process has also begun
through the Health & Safety Commission.
