Shirley Powell has been appointed to head of HR for the Childcare Corporation. Her role is strategic, aiming to retain nursery professionals and prepare for growth of the company. Previously, Powell was HR manager at charity CfBT Education Trust.
Housing association Connect Housing has appointed David Albone as HR manager in a newly restructured HR team. Previously, Albone worked as HR manager in Connect’s temporary structure, following the merger of The Ridings and West Yorkshire Housing Associations in 2006. He will develop online recruitment strategies.
