Copart UK has appointed Paul Brewer as HR director. Brewer was previously with the Mitie Group, where he was a senior HR manager. He will focus on leading and developing the HR function while providing strategic direction on people management.

Bristol City Council has recruited Will Godfrey as strategic director of resources. Godfrey, who will take up the role on 13 July, is currently chief executive of East Hampshire District Council. He will be responsible for providing direction to the authority’s HR, finance and legal teams.
