Park City, human resources management company, comment on Personnel Today article – Construction sector at risk of 90,000 redundancies.

Following the survey released by the Federation of Master Builders that 90,000 jobs could be lost in the first half of 2009, Juliet Price, MD of Park City Consulting and Chairman of the Essex Branch of the Institute of Directors stated;

“Whilst re-structuring and redundancy are to be expected in the current economic climate, and whilst these processes are often painful, costly and time-consuming, there is help for small businesses in these difficult economic times”.

“Moreover, by undertaking a flexible workforce review and with proper redundancy support, it will be possible for many companies to improve their efficiency, reduce their costs, achieve their objectives and restore their competitive advantage”.

Park City’s expert Consultants are here to offer small businesses peace of mind 24 hours a day. So if your company is struggling in this economic downturn, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

Juliet Price concluded; “Park City’s expert Human Resources Consultants will offer solutions specifically tailored to your business, and together we can improve your organisational performance and help your company emerge from this recession more efficient and resourceful than ever before”.

Park City’s “How to…” monthly workshops will provide excellent advice and training for business managers, especially in these difficult economic times and all professionals are warmly invited to attend.

There is also support available for Essex company directors at the IoD’s executive breakfast club events.
