Patersons and Rostima partner to offer global HR, payroll and workforce management solutions

by Personnel Today 26 Sep 2007
by Personnel Today 26 Sep 2007

Global HR and payroll specialist, Patersons, has entered into a global strategic alliance with Rostima, a leading provider of enterprise workforce management solutions.

Workforce management is inextricably linked to payroll and HR, but few companies have a solution which can handle the complexities of planning and scheduling staff time and activities across countries 24/7.

Karen Paterson, CEO of Patersons, commented: “Many of our clients have complicated working patterns and the Rostima solution will help to manage these requirements very effectively, it will integrate seamlessly into our payroll and HR solution to avoid the time consuming process of rekeying information. Staff are typically a company’s most valuable asset and also its biggest cost, and it’s essential to manage them effectively.”

Steve Moore, Rostima’s CEO, explained, “We were keen to enter into a strategic partnership with Patersons as their solution is an ideal complement to ours and like ours, it is sold and proven worldwide.  Together we will be able to offer a unique global HR, payroll and workforce management solution.”

Rostima’s system is typically used by companies in 24/7 operations in the aviation, transport & logistics, ports, service and retail sectors.  Rostima’s enterprise plus solution includes workforce planning, scheduling and rostering, employee self-service and time and attendance.

Both Patersons Logon2 HR and payroll solution and Rostima’s enterprise plus suite have been designed to integrate with existing legacy systems including ERP solutions: clients can simply choose to use Logon2 or enterprise plus as a best of breed alternative to the ERP’s own HR, payroll or workforce management elements.

Patersons is an international HR and payroll software and services expert providing services to clients in over 160 countries.  The main technology solution, Logon2global solutions, provides consolidated global management information in real-time on payroll and HR.  The web-based software allows for fast implementation times and facilitates integration with any system from ERP to individual solutions.  Clients vary from small international companies to those employing thousands but all appreciate the multilingual system and return on investment from day one of going live.
