Marion
Crowcombe has joined Wokingham e-business technology company Logsys Solutions
as personnel manager. A member of the CIPD, Crowcombe has eight years’
experience in personnel. She spent two years with civil and structural
engineers Peter Brett Associates and was previously with Teachers’ Assurance in
Bournemouth. Crowcombe will focus on the welfare of staff, particularly in
assessing their training and development needs.
Scott
Hudson has been appointed chief operating officer of global HR specialist
CitiPeople. A chartered accountant, Hudson will be responsible for group
financial and personnel functions. His role will include championing the
continual improvement of systems and procedures to deliver new services and
further reinforce the CitiPeople Group’s professional reputation.
UK
telecommunications and technology consultancy Pre-Ad has appointed Graham
Herrick as a specialist recruitment consultant. He began his career in banking
but became attracted to recruitment consultancy while looking for jobs.
Scotland’s
pan-European Internet-enabled contact centre Response Handling has appointed
Glynis Montgomery as HR manager. Before joining Response Handling, Montgomery
worked in HR in the oil industry and more recently gained experience of working
in contact centres with TSB Phonebank and Thus.
Phil Badley
has been appointed assistant chief executive (human resources) at Stockport
Council. He joins Stockport from Darwen Borough Council where he has been
assistant director of personnel since 1996. Badley, who has an MSc in personnel
management, will lead personnel services at the council. A member of the CIPD
and the Institute of Management, Badley is also a member of the Society of
Chief Personnel Officers.
Mark Jones
is the new business development manager at TC Group, the business consultancy
serving the financial sector. Jones has 10 years’ experience in HR management
before joining Oracle two-and-a-half years ago as a consultant and is a
qualified CIPD member.
Tim Coles
has joined PeopleBank as operations director, after spending time in business
development for an Internet company. Before this he served in the Army for 13
years as an officer in the Parachute Regiment.

Richard
Hawksworth has been appointed chief executive of Halcyon Internet, the provider
of software applications for the recruitment industry. Hawksworth joins from an
internet recruitment site, where he was vice-president for business development
and strategy.
