Personnel Today Awards 2017: Final deadline announced

by Personnel Today 19 Jun 2017
by Personnel Today 19 Jun 2017

Friday 23 June is the final deadline for entries to the Personnel Today Awards 2017, one of the biggest celebrations of excellence in the HR profession.

The Personnel Today Awards recognise HR teams and individuals that have made an impact with their people policies and have delivered tangible benefits to their organisation.

Are you an award-winning HR professional? Or perhaps your team has excelled in a certain area – there are 20 categories to choose from.

The Personnel Today Awards 2017
entries deadline has been extended.

Enter now!

If you and your HR colleagues have led an innovative project, driven down costs, been courageous in implementing change or achieved great results in the past 18 months, then you could be a winner of one of our coveted awards, which will be presented at a glittering ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on 21 November 2017.

“We have had a terrific response from the HR profession so we feel it’s right to allow organisations a little more time to put their entries together and give themselves the best chance of winning one of our coveted awards,” said Rob Moss, editor of Personnel Today.

This year there are 20 categories to enter, including new categories such as “Employment law firm of the year” and “Emerging HR leader”.

Entrants should also remember that they can nominate suppliers for the award for best supplier partnership, which recognises the important contribution of suppliers to the profession, now in its fourth year.

Only suppliers nominated by entrants to the other categories in the Personnel Today Awards can enter.

“If any organisations entering the awards think their suppliers are deserving of an award, they should start working together to make sure they can enter,” added Moss.

Suppliers can also enter the employer categories on behalf of their clients, with permission. Full details of all the awards criteria are on the categories page.

Last year, brewing company SAB Miller won the top prize, the overall award, for an innovative learning and development project that had clear links to the bottom line.

Each category is independently judged by respected industry figures. Judging begins after the entry deadline and category shortlists are announced in July. Nominated suppliers will be invited to enter the “HR supplier partnership” category once the main entries deadline has passed.

All finalists are invited to attend the shortlist drinks party in September, as well as the dazzling awards dinner on 21 November 2017. Previous guest hosts have included Hugh Dennis, Jack Dee, Gaby Roslin and Claudia Winkleman.
