Visitors to this year’s Learning Technologies conference and exhibition, in London, will get the chance to see demonstrations of ‘Plateau Anywhere’, a set of capabilities for the mobile workforce that deliver talent management applications to employees and managers on their smartphone or disconnected laptop.
Jeff Kristick, Plateau’s senior vice president of marketing, commented: “In today’s work environment, employees are increasingly mobile. Plateau has long recognised and addressed the need for mobility and flexibility in delivering talent management capabilities – and Plateau Anywhere continues to build on these existing capabilities. We’re delighted to be able to officially launch new Plateau mobile capabilities in the UK at Learning Technologies.”
Consisting of Offline Player, Talent Gateway and the new Plateau Mobile, Plateau Anywhere provides users with the ability to access information and complete talent management tasks wherever and whenever they please.
Using Plateau Anywhere, employees will be able to access their learning to-do list, search their employer’s learning catalogue and view mobile-ready learning content from virtually anywhere using a mobile browser. Managers will have the ability to approve learning requests and track employees’ performance objectives on-the-go.
Paul Sparta, Chairman and CEO of Plateau Systems Ltd, commented: “Organisations need talent management solutions that can keep up with the talent and, for an increasing number of workers, that means providing anywhere, anytime access to key productivity and knowledge applications on mobile or disconnected devices. Plateau Anywhere has the potential to significantly boost learning adoption, increase training compliance and support the enterprise goal of putting the right information in the right hands at the right time.”
Plateau Anywhere will be available as standard functionality within Plateau’s unified and comprehensive Talent Management Suite. The Plateau suite of SaaS-based applications includes Plateau Learning, Plateau Performance, Plateau Career & Succession and Plateau Compensations, as well as analytics, content-as-a-service and the Plateau Talent Gateway social networking and collaboration technology.

Now in its 12th year, Learning Technologies has become Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work, attracting an audience of 4,000 or so learning and development professionals. The conference will take place at Olympia, London, on 26th and 27th January.
