Striking postal workers at
Watford, Maidstone and Carlisle mail centres are returning to work.
The Royal Mail estimates that
this represents 15 to 20 per cent of the 10,000 striking employees across the
country.
The rest of the striking staff
are now expected to return to work.
The strike started last Friday
when 800 Watford employees walked out over a change in shift patterns.
Liverpool-based employees then
walked out when they were given the work load from Watford.
