According to the Everest Group, there are four main types of suppliers in the recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) market: “pure-play” RPO companies; those that come from a contracting or staffing background; general HR outsourcing companies for which recruitment is one of their offerings; and executive search companies. What your organisation requires often depends on its scale, whether or not you are outsourcing other HR or management services, and the scope of your budget.
The pure-play RPO companies operating globally include Alexander Mann Solutions, Kenexa, Ochre House, and Talent2. UK providers include eSift, Arbita RPO, hyphen, ResourceBank, elemense and The Consort Group.
Many well-known recruitment companies have RPO arms, including Hays Resource Management, Kelly OCG, Resource Solutions (part of Robert Walters Group), Reed Managed Services and Randstad Managed Services.
General HR or business-process outsourcing companies can offer RPO as a standalone service or alongside other functions (such as payroll). These companies include Independent HR and Accenture.

Futurestep is one of a smaller number of suppliers from an executive search background: its parent company is the headhunting group Korn/Ferry.
