Rail workers are expected to announce dates tomorrow for Easter holiday industrial action, following an ongoing dispute with employer Network Rail over safety standards and staffing levels, the Independent has reported.
A walkout by signal workers and maintenance employees is expected to begin on 1 April, and Bob Crow, leader of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers, has reportedly warned passengers against booking rail tickets for the Easter weekend.
