A free website aimed at gathering honest and anonymous views from employees about their employer has been launched.

Employerinformation. co.uk rates companies on their employment practices and asks workers to give genuine feedback, in a controlled environment, about where they work.

It is intended to help jobseekers form an unbiased opinion of any company, but bosses say it will also help HR professionals monitor employee engagement and retention.

Employees are asked to complete questions about the way the company is run, which helps to create an individual rating system, open to anyone to view.

Jed Walsh, director at Employer Information said: “Employees who are unhappy at work will leave, so this is a perfect opportunity for employers to use this information positively to improve the way their company and their business operates.”
