David Anderson, Jobcentre Plus chief executive, said: “With employment at its highest ever level, it is welcome news that more and more people are logging on to the Jobcentre Plus website to look for work.”
Anderson said the reason for the increase in visits to the website was that New Year is historically a busy time for people looking for work, and that Jobcentre Plus had invested in technology, enabling the website to increase its capacity.
