Regional newspapers are top recruitment method

Findings
from the Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI) show the most commonly used
recruitment methods over the past six months were regional newspapers (47 per
cent).

The
quarterly RCI, developed by Cranfield School of Management and the Daily Telegraph,
in association with Personnel Today, shows the second most popular method was
employment agencies (46 per cent), followed by internal recruitment (43 per
cent), and corporate websites (42 per cent).

use of each recruitment method has remained relatively stable compared with the
previous quarter, and most methods showed a slight increase in usage.
