Sainsbury in talks to avert further industrial action

Supermarket
chain Sainsbury is locked in talks with trade union Usdaw over a pay dispute
with staff.

The
talks are being brokered by conciliation body Acas to try and resolve a dispute
which has led to industrial action.

Around
750 warehouse workers carried out four 24-hour strikes after rejecting a pay
offer from the company.

A
spokesman for Usdaw said the talks started on Monday and were still ongoing.
