Staff
at security firm Securicor Cash Services have accepted an inflation-busting pay
deal after GMB union members at the company voted 3 to 1 in favour.
The
new deal will see workers receive an 11.3 per cent pay deal over the next two
years.Â
The
agreement provides a 5 per cent pay rise with effect from February, and a
further 6 per cent rise from February 2004.

Securicor
handles two-thirds of the economy’s cash –Â
£1.5bn a day – as they refill cash points and deliver cash to and from
banks. This pay deal covers 6,000 employees across Great Britain and Northern
Ireland.
