Service company pay awards averaged 4 per cent in the three months to
December 1999, compared with 3.8 per cent to November and 4.4 per cent a year
ago. Manufacturing awards averaged 2 per cent in the three months to December,
2.3 per cent in the three months to November and 3 per cent a year ago.
