Shine a light on e-learning

If you’re involved in e-learning then Learning Light (LL) wants to hear from you.

LL, a non-profit organisation that maps training trends, wants online input for a survey it is conducting on e-learning. If you have a view, go to www.surveymonkey.com, where you’ll find the questionnaire.

LL head of research Jane Knight said new tools such as blogs and podcasts have helped create a second generation of e-learning, called ‘Web 2.0’.

She added that the research will help LL better understand 10 key e-learning issues such as technology trends and learning theory.

The 2006 Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development learning survey found that just 1% of respondents thought e-learning was the most effective learning method.
