Sodexo has appointed Scott Jarvis as its director of transformation and resourcing in a newly created role.
Jarvis, who was previously the head of resourcing and talent at pharmaceutical firm AstraZeneca, began his new role last month. He is responsible for developing and delivering the food and facilities management company’s resourcing strategy, heading up a team of eight recruiters.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Sodexo at such an exciting time. The business has fantastic development and growth plans and I look forward to playing a key role in providing the capabilities and infrastructure to make these ambitions a reality.”

During his three years at AstraZeneca, Jarvis implemented a new strategy for attracting and retaining talent across the organisation. Jarvis was also HR business partner for the support functions, during which time he led a full restructuring of the UK sales and marketing business.
Jarvis will be reporting to Natalie Bickford, HR director at Sodexo, UK and Ireland.
