Standard Chartered bank has overhauled its HR structure by promoting two key personnel.
The portfolio of Tim Miller, the group’s head of HR, which currently includes corporate real estate and HR, has been expanded to include compliance and regulatory risk, internal audit and legal. He will now be director for people, property and assurance.
Miller has been with the group for five years and was appointed as a director in December 2004.
Tracy Clarke, currently group head of corporate affairs and head of the group chief executive’s office, will take over as group head of HR, reporting to Miller.
The firm said the new structure reflected the importance it placed on its employees and the Bank’s focus on developing talent.
Mervyn Davies, Standard Chartered’s group chief executive, said: “Tim Miller has done a great job transforming the HR function at Standard Chartered over the past five years.
