Peoplesoft’s UK product strategy manager has questioned current Internet HR strategies and urged employers to tailor strategy to the individual employee.
At today’s HR conference on self-service organised by IIR in London, Liz Bailey said a "personalised one-stop shop" was the way forward.
"There are many pitfalls in self-service HR. It is not just about company policies that employees needs to have, they need to have everything for their position.
"In a one-stop shop if you need to book a flight this should be catered for on the Internet," she said, "If it is not done then its payback can be questioned."
