Too much has been given over to family-friendly policies. What about the childless workers who are left, as Hartley states, “bridging the gaps”?
It’s time the child-free stood up to be counted and said ‘enough is enough’. If people want to have children, fine. But do not expect us to work longer and harder just to make their lives easier.
