The Institute of Chartered Accountants launches ICAEWjobs.com

by Personnel Today 15 Aug 2008

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has launched ICAEWjobs.com, a new job board advertising accountancy and financial roles for qualified accountants.

Aimed at the ICAEW’s 130,000 ACA qualified members, ICAEWjobs will also target members of the wider financial community through external marketing and the ICAEW’s network of faculties and partnerships.

Luke Collier, Head of Online Recruitment at the ICAEW said:

‘Our research shows that ICAEW members have an outstanding reputation within the marketplace and are in high demand as candidates. By taking advantage of the channels of communication that already exist between us and our members, we’re able to offer recruiters unrivalled access to a much-sought after group of finance professionals.’

ICAEWjobs has been built with an intuitive browsing function and jobs are categorised to reflect the many financial roles available to accountants in the Commerce & Industry, Practice and Not-for-Profit sectors.

Supported by an in-house team of Customer Service, Marketing and Sales staff, ICAEWjobs has full job board functionality and is integrated with the leading multi-posting software providers.

Sharron Gunn, Director of Member Services at the ICAEW commented:

‘ICAEWjobs is a key initiative for the Institute and is central in our commitment to provide compelling services and products to our members. By showcasing the wealth of opportunities available in the UK and Worldwide, we aim to provide our membership with an invaluable career resource to help them make the most of their ACA qualification.’
