People in the UK feel increasingly secure in their jobs, according to the latest Feel Good Index.
The research was carried out by marketing information group Taylor Nelson Sofres for Personnel Today.
Cynthia Younger of Taylor Nelson Sofres said, "It appears that men are more confident than they were in August as the index figure for men has risen by 4.05 compared with last quarter, bringing it back to the level of confidence felt in May."
Although the overall trend is upwards, she said, the index figure for women fell by 1.55. The survey found 88 per cent felt either very or fairly secure in their jobs - an overall increase on the previous quarter.
