An Asian referee has won his case against the Football
League at an employment tribunal.
Gurnam Singh claimed he was overlooked for the top matches
and ultimately dismissed because of his race.

The tribunal panel was told that
Singh was repeatedly passed over for the Premier League games despite being
first in the merit order of 49 referees in the 1994/95 season.
