Two-thirds of employers are unprepared for the introduction of the Equality Act with just weeks until it comes into force, the latest Personnel Today barometer has revealed.
Of the 224 responses received so far, 66% admitted that their organisation was not fully ready for the new legislation, which goes live on 1 October and aims to provide a simpler, more consistent and more effective legal framework for preventing discrimination.
