The
University of Westminster is launching a diversity and equality awareness
programme for employees.
As
part of the programme, the HR department is issuing a ‘Respect for People
Diversity Workbook’ to all staff to increase understanding of the key issues
facing a diverse working environment.
“The
diversity workbook programme will, I believe, prove a distinctive method of
involving all members of staff in a very interactive way because we want this
process to be interesting, informative and flexible,” says Larry Bunt, HR
director at the university.
Employees
will also take part in an interactive telephone test.
