Virgin Atlantic Airways’ largest ever recruitment drive will take place next year, when the company will take on over 1,700 new staff.

According to Virgin Atlantic chairman Sir Richard Branson, there will be job opportunities for pilots, cabin crew, ground crew and airport staff, as well as office based positions.

The demand for staff has been created from new routes, increased frequencies and new aircraft.

“I am committed to the continued expansion of Virgin Atlantic. We are a British success story and we aim to continue creating interesting and rewarding job opportunities,” said Branson.
